In 2015, Oliver set off on a 1650 km journey - North to South - capturing the ultimate wonders of Vietnam: the Hanoi ancient quarter; the breathtaking Halong Bay; the claustrophobic caves of Trang An; the glamorous fabric merchants of Hoi An; the secret temples in the marble mountain of Da Nang; the historical capital Hue; the wet and tropical Mekong delta and the white sandy beaches at Phu Quoc.
Oliver was contacted by BBDO Vietnam to expand the campaign in South East Asia with a few specific short video ads aimed at various audiences, among them consumers, merchants and financial institutions. Typical scenes of Vietnamese life were the key to creating compelling 30 second ads that have since been adapted into several different Asian languages.
