How can we pay homage to such a unique city like Venice? This was the challenge René Caovilla asked Oliver and his team to embrace and it led them on an exciting journey that uncovered Venice’s most ancient folk traditions.
Behind the scenes
Planning a video production in Venice is indeed a difficult and lengthy task for any cinematographer. Following 60 days of planning each carefully shot moment, as well as securing the relevant permission for filming on location, Oliver and his crew spent 10 days in the city capturing all the wonders they sought to bring their vision to life.
Outcomes & Achievements
This short film uncovers unique aerial views of Venice, melded together with the artisanal skills on the ground that have been handed down through 500 years of Venetian generations.
