Deep in the forests of the Mentawai Islands, far from the rhythms of the modern world, this project captures a community whose traditions remain closely tied to the land.
Created in collaboration with Canon EMEA, the film follows a week spent with the Mentawai people, exploring their daily life while showcasing the versatility of the RF 24-105mm F2.8L IS USM Z.
Director's Cut
Filmed with the Canon EOS C70, the production combined documentary storytelling with product exploration across portrait, landscape, and movement.
Alongside the main film, the project included behind the scenes material and dedicated product content created to support Canon’s global communication.
