Set on the remote island of Sumba, within the Indonesian archipelago, NIHI Sumba offers a rare balance. A raw, untamed environment paired with a refined, deeply considered approach to hospitality.
The project explores this contrast through a series of films and photographic works, capturing the experience of a destination where isolation becomes part of the offering. An island where space, silence, and landscape define a new sense of exclusivity.
Beyond the setting, the narrative extends into the philosophy of the resort itself. A place where travel contributes to the local ecosystem, supporting communities through a foundation that creates opportunities and long term impact.
