Behind the scenes

Oliver travelled through this charming country in January 2018 for 18 days, visiting its most iconic destinations, such as Bagan and Inle Lake, and moving beyond the beaten track to the Mergui Archipelago in the South region. The beauty of the sea echoes the wonders of Thailand but without the inevitable crowds of tourists.



Oliver chose to visit Myanmar as it had recently opened its borders for tourists into a land undiscovered. The locals are extremely fascinated by foreigners and welcome them with incredible warmth into a country that is waiting to be explored.
