For this project, Oliver and his team travelled throughout the varying landscapes of Japan. From the fast paced life of Tokyo to the mysteries of Wakayama, they showcase the supreme performance of the Mercedes G-Class in a 2 minute video where ancient and modern sit side by side on this most exhilarating of road trips. The project closed off with an additional Director’s Cut awarded with a Vimeo Staff Pick.
Behind the scenes
An agile production team supported by OSK (Mercedes-Benz Global PR Agency) captured world renowned photographers Alen Palander and Max Muench driving the G-Class across a multitude of breathtaking locations.
Outcomes & Achievements
The final video shows the Mercedes G-Class immersed in the insuperable contrast of ancient Japanese traditions and Japan’s modern technological prowess. Indeed, this extraordinary itinerary shows that every corner of Japan is worthy of celebration.
